Honorees will be recognized at our District Conference on Friday evening, 3 May at Seven Springs Mountain Resort.

District Conference

With respect to our conference, Chairs George and Colleen Wood and their committee are planning some truly special events that you won’t want to miss.
In addition to the club awards on Friday, we will also honor an Arch Klumpf Society member ($250,000+ donation to The Rotary Foundation), a Major Donor (+$10,000), past district governors, club presidents, and the rest of this year’s team.
Attendees will receive a special commemorative gift and joining us from El Paso, Texas, will be Rotary International President’s Representative is Mike Adkins and his wife Vicky.

After the formalities, we will have a Mountain Safari night (Squealing monkeys, perhaps!) in Cherie’s Monkey Business Café with entertainment, games, and prizes for the best dressed safari-goer.
My husband, Mike, can’t wait to wear his pith helmet.

On Saturday, we will focus on Rotary people of action and our youth programs.
Interact awards will be presented and Kimberly Sears (yep, my daughter!) will share how Rotary Youth Exchange changed her life.

General David Papak, USMC RET.

During lunch, we will hear from another motivational speaker, General David Papak, USMC RET.
General Papak, who is from Monongahela, Pennsylvania, will share his involvement with the Travis Manion Foundation and its Character Does Matter program.

Don’t forget the special offer—Bring 4 Rotarians for lunch and get 4 more Rotarian lunches free!  Saturday afternoon will include the Great Rotary Club Safari Challenge.  Again, there will be special prizes and trophies.
Saturday evening, we will partake of a Mountain Barbecue and say good-bye to District 7330.
Plan to join us after for a pre-Cinco de Mayo party with yes, again, prizes, entertainment, and fun.
I am so looking forward to the Last Best 7330 District Conference Ever and I really want YOU to join me.  Each of you has helped to make this Rotary year memorable and I want to thank you in person.
Conference registration is now available and room reservations can be made through Seven Springs. Individual, club, and business sponsorships are also available and will be recognized on signage and in the keepsake program booklet.
