District Governor, Pam Moore, has been a member of the Uniontown Rotary Club since 1999. She served as Club President in 2004-2005 and under her leadership, the Uniontown Club received the Governor’s Crystal Citation, the Presidential Citation and Club of the Year. On an individual level, Pam received the District Governor’s Service Award in 2008 and 2010 and she was named the District’s Rotarian of the Year in 2009.
Pam has served District 7330 in many capacities including Assistant Governor, Assistant Governor Advisor, District Trainer, District Family of Rotary Chairperson, District Conference Chair and District Conference Committee. She is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a Sustaining Member of the Rotary Foundation.
In the true spirit of “serving humanity” Pam has always maintained a strong belief in volunteering her services to the community. She has done that through many organizations, in addition to Rotary, over the years. Serving as the first female President of the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, Pam continues to serve on various Chamber committees. She also serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of Fay Penn Economic Development Council. For her community involvement, Pam has received the Captain’s Star Award from the Salvation Army, has been the recipient of both the Herman Buck Award and Citizen of the Year Award from the Fayette Chamber of Commerce and has been given the Outstanding Fellow Award from Penn State Fayette, the Eberly Campus.
Professionally, Pam is the General Manager of the Uniontown Mall where she is responsible for the entire operation of the shopping center. In addition to her community service awards, she has also been honored in her professional capacity by receiving the Founder’s Award for Professional Excellence, General Manager of the Year and the Sylvan Cohen Award for Community Service from her employer. Additionally, Pam is a licensed Real Estate Agent and has earned the designation of Certified Shopping Center Manager from the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Pam met her partner, Bill Blaney through Rotary, and over the years they have worked side by side on various Rotary Club and District projects and projects within the community.
