JOIN US FOR THE FACE-OFF AGAINST HUNGER FUNDRAISING EVENT
Do you remember the movie "Slap Shot" with Paul Newman? It was filmed in Johnstown with the Johnstown Chiefs as the model. The 2010 Hunger event will be a home game with the Chiefs. That's right; we're not going to get lost in the crowd at a large venue. Instead Rotary will, in addition to the Johnstown Chiefs, be the main attraction at The War Memorial Arena.
We will have Public Service Announcements, we will celebrate Rotary's 105th Birthday and we will have a Rotary Information Table set up. We will also get radio and newspaper coverage. And... the District Governor will drop the puck for the ceremonial face-off.
Attending Rotarians; please bring dry or canned food items and enjoy a pre-game party in
the District Governor's Box. We will have a buffet and a cash bar. We will occupy all the
boxes and will also be seated together in the stands. The bar will remain open during the game.
What: Face-Off Against Hunger with the Johnstown Chiefs
When: Sunday, March 7th at 1:00 PM, game starts at 2:05 PM (buffet will close at the end of the first intermission)
Where: Cambria County War Memorial Arena

Cost: $22 per person, with at least $3 going to a Hunger Project

Chiefs players for a free skate after the game!
