Recognition of Champions Lunch
“Rotary Serving Humanity…Past, Present and Future” District Conference
June 2, 2017 ~ 11:30am
Dear Fellow Rotarian:
During this year’s District Conference, we will be honoring Rotary and Community Champions during our Friday lunch. The Keynote Speaker for this special luncheon will be former Pittsburgh Penguin and current Penguins broadcaster, the “Ol’ Two-Niner” Phil Bourque.
We are asking each Club to submit the name of a Rotary or Community Champion. Do you have an exceptional Rotarian in your Club? Perhaps someone that has perfect attendance for a number of years; someone that has led your Club with an exceptional project; or someone that just makes everyone feel good about being a Rotarian? Or is there someone in your community that has done something special to make your community a better place to live?
Rotary and Community Champions will be honored during a special “Champions Lunch” on Friday, June 2. The program will begin at 11:30am and the cost of lunch is $25.00.
On behalf of District Governor Pam, we are asking each club to submit the name of an exceptional Rotarian or Community Member. We are also requesting that if possible, your club consider cancelling your weekly meeting and encourage your members to attend this special luncheon.
Please return this NOMINATION FORM to PDG Maria Fetock by May 15, 2017.
Thank you…and we are looking forward to hearing from each of you!
