It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better.  The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.

 As I have traveled around our diverse district, I have met some of the finest people I will ever have the pleasure of knowing.  Without you, the quality of life in our area would suffer.  Rotarians in District 7330, from the West Virginia border to Northern Cambria embrace Rotary’s new vision statement--Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. 
You, my friends, are taking on challenges that some would say are too big or too expensive or impossible. Washington Rotarians are in the third year of renovating an historic pavilion in Washington Park, Blairsville Rotarians made a community skate park a reality, and Murrysville Rotarians led the efforts to build a Miracle Field.  Norwin, Portage, Northern Cambria, Westmoreland, and Brownsville Rotarians  perform numerous community service projects that fall within Rotary’s six areas of focus—water and sanitation, maternal and child health, peace and conflict prevention/resolution, disease prevention and treatment, basic education and literacy, and economic and community development.
Conemaugh Township set the bar a little higher on membership.  Four new members were installed this past week.  That is pretty darn audacious!

 Conemaugh Township members led by President Andi Palmer with Assistant Governor Owen P. Stanley and DG Cherie.
Somerset President Mike Kuhn welcomed Mike Lange, legendary voice of the Pittsburgh Penguins to SomerFest, a community celebration.
Blairsville President Mary Shields presented DG Cherie and Mascot Rody with a lantern.  Let our light shine!
